Africa is a great theme to do with children. It’s a fascinating continent with its own cultures, customs and identities. Many children in our schools will have parents from countries within the continent of Africa and they will be an excellent resource too! The main aim of this theme is not to focus on the negative aspects of Africa, e.g. famine, war, poverty, which our televisions give us enough of. There are tonnes of resources that show Africa as a modern, rich and diverse place to live. Check out the links below and rate them. Also, please add your own links as you find them!
