World Egg Day is celebrated on 8th June. Eggs are a great theme for teaching. There’s loads of science experiments involving eggs, (my favourite is one where children have to drop an egg from a height without it breaking). Eggs are also associated with festivals like Easter and Passover. Let’s also not forget visual arts where Faberge Eggs are a great inspiration. [Image source: http://www.chicagonow.com/]
