What Kind of Person am I?
Kids create a piece of visual art to describe themselves using suitable adjectives.
Theme(s): personality,art,media
Resources Needed
Magazines
Newspapers
Plain paper
Black card/sugar paper
Colours
Scissors
Glue

Introduction
Brainstorm words that kids can use to describe themselves (physical, personality traits, abilities etc.), write difficult spellings on the board.
Development
Distribute magazines and newspapers, ask kids to cut out words and/or individual letters to form words they would like to use.
Kids also draw and colour their own name on plain paper and cut this out.
Glue name in centre of black card, surrounded by describing words.
Conclusion
Show and tell.
