Light is a form of energy and it can be natural or artificial. Most natural light comes from the Sun but artificial light can be made through other forms of energy such as electricity. The light bulb is one example and its inventor was Thomas Edison, one of the most famous inventors of all time. Edison’s birthday was the 11th February so it’s a good date to introduce the theme of light. Edison also invented movies so we have him to thank for cinemas, TVs and probably anything with a screen!
