The Internet provides some odd facts and one such fact is that May 29th is National Paper Clip Day in America. I’m not quite sure if this phenomenon has spread to other countries but perhaps it will do! Paperclips were invented in 1899 by a Norwegian inventor and have been used to temporarily store paper together without leaving any marks. Over time, paperclips have been used in the classroom to help with magnet experiments and to make all sorts of interesting pieces of art. It would be interesting to see what “links” you can come up with for this unusual theme! [Image: http://images.cdn.fotopedia.com/flickr-3530496917-original.jpg]
