Rosh Hashannah (16th September 2012)

The Jewish New Year is called Rosh Hashannah.   It usually takes place between September and October.  This is because the Jewish calendar follows the moon’s cycle rather than the Sun.  As it’s also the beginning of the new school year, Rosh Hashannah is a great comparison for new beginnings and is an interesting theme to work with.  Try searching keywords such as “New Year”, Judaism and festivals.
