European Union (13th December)

On 13th December, 2003, the European Union accepted 10 more members. These members were: Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia, and Slovenia. Polish Independence Day (November 11th)

Poland’s Independence Day takes place in November and it might be a good opportunity to do some work on Poland.  Ireland has a large Polish community and many children in our schools come from Polish backgrounds so it might be a nice theme to try out in classrooms.  Some rights reserved by zscout370
